Dorothy N. Radebaugh (nee Keyser), 98, formerly of Elyria, died March 4, 2024. She was born September 15, 1925 in New Athens, Harrison County, Ohio and was a 1943 graduate of Franklin High School in New Athens. For 10 years, Dorothy had been employed at General Industries, Elyria and then for 22 years as a secretary at MB Johnson School of Nursing in Elyria, retiring in 1987. She attended LaPorte United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of several bridge clubs. She was a member of Ladies Senior Fellowship, enjoyed gardening, flower arranging and traveling with her late husband. Dorothy spent the past 10 years living in the Wesleyan Senior Living Community in Georgetown Texas.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Gale R. Radebaugh of Georgetown, TX; son, Thomas R. Radebaugh (Diane R. Johnson) of Colorado Springs, CO; grandsons, Zachary and Erik Radebaugh and a great grandson, Kai Cole.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John C. in 1998; parents, Kenneth and Mary Keyser; a brother Charles “Cap” Keyser and a sister Donna Blaisdell.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend William Baker of LaPorte United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
