Alice Lorraine Senning (nee Crandall) 90, of Elyria, died Monday, July 23, 2012 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville.
She was born January 28, 1922 in Elyria and was a 1939 graduate of Elyria High School. She had lived in Lakeland, FL from 1980 until returning to Elyria in 1999.
Alice worked at the former J.C. Penney Company and the former C.H. Merthe Company in downtown, Elyria, where she made draperies. She was a former member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Elyria and El Rey Caldron.
She enjoyed square dancing, sewing, ceramics and traveling.
Alice is survived by a daughter Lorraine Lori McGloin (husband, Robert) of Elyria; grandchildren Kristen and Sara McGloin and Christopher and Kevin Senning and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles E. Senning in 1998; son, Thomas A. Senning in 1986; brother, Walter B. Crandall in 1971 and sister, Norma Kelly in 1992.
