Allen K. Peters

Allen K. Peters, Sr., 75, of Berea, died September 29, 2010, after a long illness. He was born May 9, 1935 and was a former resident of North Ridgeville and Elyria and was the owner and operator of Patriot Air Freight. His hobby was classic cars and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Allen is survived by his wife, Jean Peters; children, JoAnn(Paul)Sen, Allen(Sandy)Peters II, Donnie(Laura)Peters, Debbie(Howard)Schuster, Dale(Beth)Peters, and Cheryl(Cary)Squires; former wife, Virginia Peters; stepchildren, David(Pat)Young, Cindy(Mark)Janszen, Carolyn(John)Ofiara and Robert Young; siblings, Dick(Maureen)Peters, Linda(Robert)Chal and Bev(Ron)Boch; 29 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 nephew and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Ethel Peters; step grandsons, Christopher Byrd and Michael Young; niece, Rhonda Peters and nephew, Jeff Peters.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, from 2:00 PM until the time of a 4:00 PM memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Robert Gross, pastor of Lake Avenue United Church of Christ, will officiate.
