Alton Carson McNeal

Alton Carson McNeal, 90, of Elyria, passed away January 6, 2025 at his home. He was born July 19, 1934 in Crab Orchard, Tennessee to Clack and Berta McNeal.  Carson was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He was an active and devoted member of Washington Avenue Christian Church.  

Carson is survived by his wife, Lillie (nee Arbogast) McNeal; sons, Aaron McNeal (Deanna), Neal McNeal and Joel McNeal (Brandy); grandchildren, Alec, Shane (Christel), Jacob, Arianna (Marco), Ava, Lizzy and Ryleigh and great-grandchildren, Vincent and Olivia.  

He was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Condon, Edward and Kenneth and sisters, Hazel McNeal Nail and Helen McNeal.

Private inurnment will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
