Anna Adelle Keressi (nee Moorhead), 97, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully February 1, 2025 after a prolonged illness.
Anna was born November 7, 1927 in Brinkley, AR and would eventually move with her husband, George E. Keressi Sr., to Northeast Ohio in 1946. Anna and George would go on to raise their four children in Grafton.
Anna was a loving homemaker who cherished spending time with her family. Whether it was sharing meals, telling stories, or giving her loved ones a little "sugar," she always made the moments special. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and many forms of needlework, including sewing, quilting, and crocheting. After retiring, Anna and George spent their winters vacationing in Florida, where they were often visited by family and friends over the years.
Anna is survived by sons, Paul H. and George Earl II, both of Elyria and a daughter, Rosemary O’Rork of Huron. She will be greatly missed by her entire extended family, including eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George E. Sr. in 2002; son Richard in 1995; as well as her loving parents Arthur and Rose Moorhead; brothers, Vernon and Russell Moorhead and sisters, Lucy Jacks and Joyce McFarland.
Friends will be received Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Burial will be Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 am in LaPorte Cemetery, Carlisle Township.
