Arlene Kallas

Arlene Kallas, 75, of Lorain, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born August 11, 1935 in Lorain and was formerly employed at St. Joseph Hospital and Community Health Partners, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, cross-stitch and dining out with friends. Arlene is survived by a son, Alan Kallas of Lorain; daughters, Donna(Joel)Sinegar of Elyria and Diana Malinowsky of Lorain; grandchildren, Katie Kallas, Ashley Martin, Jill and Shelby Regiec, Matt and Kelly Malinowsky and Ashley and Ben Sinegar; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Tucker and Sara(Roy)Riggs both of Vermilion and a brother Jerry Harvey of Avon.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30 PM until the time of a 7:00 PM memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Janet A. Long will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, 5255 North Abbe Road, Elyria 44035 or Kingston of Vermilion patient activities fund, 4210 Telegraph Lane, Vermilion 44089.
