Audrey N. Eskridge

Audrey N. Eskridge (nee Anderson), 81, of Elyria, died Monday March 31, 2025 in her home.  She was born June 16, 1943 in Elyria and was a 1961 graduate of Elyria High School.  She retired in 2008 as a powder coater from Forest City Technologies, Wellington.  Audrey was a member of Second Baptist Church, Elyria where she served on the usher board and a former member of St. Mary Church, Elyria.  She enjoyed gardening and jigsaw puzzles.  Audrey was famous for her homemade BBQ sauce and exceptional cooking.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 52 years, Emmett; son, Rodney Mason of Elyria; daughter, Ann Mason of Lorain; special son, Eric B. Clayton of Charlotte, NC; 8 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth (Walter-deceased) Corn and brother, Thurman (Nancy) Anderson. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Doy Anderson; grandson, Zachary K. Mason, Sr. and siblings, Dolores Johnson, Eddie Anderson and Mildred Anderson.

Friends will be received Friday, April 4, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of a 12:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Dr. Carl P. Small officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
