Barbara E. Mueller

Barbara E. Mueller (nee Hiner), 69, of Lorain, died Thursday March 20, 2025 at Mercy Health-Lorain Hospital.  She was born December 29, 1955 in Morgantown, WV.  She moved to Amherst in 1965 and was a 1974 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School.  Barb cleaned commercial offices and residences before retiring.  She was an avid reader of Janet Evanovich novels and adored her dog and 2 cats.  Barb was a strong woman and fought until the end. 

Barb is survived by her daughter, Heidi Mueller of Lorain; son, Cliff Mueller, Jr. of Sellersville, PA and father, Robert R. Hiner of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Mueller, Sr. in 1980 and mother, Virginia Hiner.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of an 11:00 am service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Kathryn Ketchum officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
