Carol Ann Big

Carol Ann Big, 75, of Elyria, passed away peacefully August 2, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born December 24, 1948 in Elyria to William “Bill” and Wilma Ellison. On November 1, 1969, Carol married Ernest “Ernie” Big and were blessed with 3 beautiful children; Mark, Michael and Rebecca. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, shopping, garage sales, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her sons, Mark (Shauntilla) of Oberlin and Michael Big of Elyria; daughter, Rebecca (Joe) Panter of Elyria; grandchildren Michael, Kari, Michelle, Isaiah, Shannon and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ernie Big; parents Bill and Wilma Ellison, sister, Frances Horvath and a granddaughter, Samantha Big.
