Carole Lacquement Obituary

Carole J. Lacquement, (nee Light), 88, of Elyria died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland.

She was born May 15, 1922 in Lodi, OH and graduated in 1940 from Chatham High School as class valedictorian. She was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Browns fan and also enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and her beloved cats.

Carole is survived by sisters Elaine S. Longbrake of Elyria; Carol L. (George) Dennison of Las Vegas, Nevada; sons Robert W. (Janice) Christy of Elyria and Jon R. (Sandy) Christy of Galloway, OH; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Lacquement in 2000 and parents Clarence and Carolyn Light.

Friends will be received Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of an 11:00 a.m. service at the chapel of Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
