Carole A Webb

Carole A. Webb (nee Slavin), 87, a lifelong Elyria resident, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 24, 2024 following a long illness.  She was born June 2, 1937 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School.  She retired from Convenient Food Mart-Lake Avenue after over 30 years of service.  Carole was a member of St. Agnes Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.  She loved family gatherings and spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching soap operas.

Carole is survived by daughter, Kathy (John) Francis; son, Chris Webb; granddaughters, Jennifer (Marquay) Horton and Ashley Francis; great-grandchildren, Alivia, Kavon, Kaliya, Quay and Kam’Ron.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernie in 2012; parents, Lawrence and Pauline (nee Olszewski) Slavin and a brother, James Slavin.

A memorial mass will be Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Church, 611 Lake Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Charles T. Diedrick officiating. Immediately following mass, family and friends are invited to join the Webb family for a tribute luncheon in the St. Agnes Hall. Burial will be private.
