Catherine M. Flatt

Catherine M. Flatt (nee: Serozi), 62, of Elyria, died Monday April 19, 2010, after a long illness. She was born July 4, 1944 in Saint Johns, Newfoundland, Canada and has been a resident of Elyria most of her life. She was a 1962 graduate of Elyria High School and was a former customer service representative at Elyria Value City. She enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren and friends, cooking and dining out. Catherine is survived by her husband, of 42 years, Louie D.; daughters, Kimberly Flatt, Jennifer Flatt and Michele (George) Fields all of Elyria; grandchildren, Brittnay, Seth and Spencer Travis, Mikaela Flatt, Taylor, Mckenna, Andrew, Michael and Tiffany Fields; brother, Mike (Nancy) Serozi of Cary, North Carolina; stepfather, Richard Holtwick; stepsisters, Denise Gard, Darlene Lear and Linda Wheeler all of Elyria. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan and her parents, Michael and Agnes Serozi. The family will receive friends, Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Friday 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with burial in Brookdale Cemetery.
