Catherine L. Ux (nee Mauntel), 81, of Elyria, passed away August 17, 2023 in her home following a short illness. She was born July 27, 1942 in Oberlin and was an Avon Representative for 40 years. She enjoyed camping and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Catherine is survived by her husband of 25 years, John W.; her children, Tim Carver and Richard Carver, both of Elyria, Terry Gross of Port Angeles, WA, Ted Carver of Bellingham, WA and Tina Kudela of Vermilion; step-children, John Ux II of Greenwich, OH and Heather Ux of New London, OH; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Mauntel, Sr. and mother, Doris L. (nee Kayser) Haught.
