Cliff Barnhouse
Cliff Barnhouse, 58, of Wellington, died May 5, 210 at The Cleveland Clinic.
He was born February 9, 1952 in Painesville, OH and was employed for twenty-five years as a pressman and knifeman at Evergreen Packaging in Olmsted Falls.
He and his wife were co-leaders of the Lorain County Chapter of The Compassionate Friends. Cliff was a born again Christian, patriotic and was interested in politics. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and was thrilled to have attended races in Michigan and Daytona. He enjoyed spending time and traveling with his wife, being a grandpa, old cars, classical music and keeping company with his son Joe.
He was the beloved husband and best friend to his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth Liz; father of Joe, Cliff, Jennifer Hamilton, Becky Missler and Petra Waller; proud grandfather of Megan, Ashley, Brianna, Hannah, Joshua, Ralph, Charlie and Katerina.
He is also survived by a brother Denver; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; his second mom Sarah Newman; mother-in-law Donalyn Dowman and brother and sister in-law Kathy and Charlie Patterson.
He was preceded in death by a son Brian, parents Denver and Patricia Barnhouse and his stepfather Glenn Duffy.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria.
