Dennis Lee Nowak

Dennis L. Nowak, 50, of Lorain, died, September 15, 2010 at his home. He was born August 7, 1960 in Lorain. Dennis was a free spirit and enjoyed the outdoors especially being on the water and fishing, but his greatest joy was interacting with children and animals. Dennis is survived by a daughter, Christina Nowak of Atlanta ,GA.; step-father, William Kopis of Elyria; brothers, Michael Nowak of Medina and Robert Nowak of St. Augustine, FL; sister, Theresa Crisp of Monroe, GA and good friend, Linda Taylor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Kopis in 1997 and a brother, Kenneth Nowak in 1998. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 until 1:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A graveside service will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, with Reverend Ronald J. Phillips of First Baptist Church officiating.
