Dennis A. "PeeWee" Smith

Dennis A. Smith “PeeWee”, 53, of Lorain, transitioned home Friday, October 13, 2023 at New Life Hospice, Lorain.  He was born August 10, 1970 in Elyria where he attended Elyria High School.  He was employed by the Boys and Girls Club and Safe and Reliable Limousine as a driver.  Dennis loved spending time with family and friends, playing chess, visiting casinos and watching sports.   

Dennis is survived by his wife, Carmen; step-daughters, Chanel and Alisha Tarrant and Ishaketa Lewis; step-son, Demetrius Tarrant; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brothers, Gerald and Adrian Smith; twin brother, Danny “Bigman” (Danielle) Smith; sisters, Artavia (George) Smith, Vanessa Smith and Keeli White and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lou Esther White; sister, Marjorie White-Marigna and a brother, Dr. Roger Lee White.

Friends will be received Friday, October 20, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
