Dolores J. Dode Gruver nee: Cuson, 80, of Elyria died Friday May 28, 2010 at her home. She was born June 5, 1929 in Elyria where she has been a life long resident. She was formerly employed for 12 years at the Chronicle Telegram and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo. Dolores is survived by a son, Kevin J. Gruver of Elyria; daughter, Kathe J. Gruver of West Salem; 6 grandchildren; a great grandson; stepson, Gary D. Gruver of Kissimmee, Florida; sisters, Doris Rainey of Elyria and Sharon Corrao of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wilbur J. Gruver in 2009; sisters, Millie Kiser and Marce Strait; brothers, Don, Vernon, L.D., Jack, Robert, Warren and Richard Cuson. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Wednesday 11:00 at the Funeral Home with Reverend Dalton Love officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
