Donna M Adkins

Donna M. Adkins (nee Dotson), 60, of Columbia Station, died December 26, 2023 in her home.  She was born March 21, 1963 in Elyria and was a 1982 graduate of Wellington High School.  Donna had been a volunteer with the special needs students at Elyria City Schools where she was later employed.  Her interests included painting, crafting, cooking and gardening. Donna and her husband, Dale enjoyed watching the birds while having coffee on their porch.   

Donna is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dale; children, Christopher (Jennifer) Adkins of Amherst, Joshua Adkins of Columbia Station and Lacey Adkins of Fairview Park; grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Mason, Gabriella and Lincoln; sister, Lura (Thomas) Keller and a brother, Stephan Dotson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornell and Lura Dotson and a sister, Rita Dotson.

Friends will be received Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.  A funeral service will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 10:00 am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Columbia Township Cemetery, Columbia Station.
