Edna Mae Moore

Edna Mae Moore (nee Sherrard), 87, Elyria, passed away peacefully at UH-Elyria Medical Center October 30, 2024. She was born June 26, 1937 in Elyria, was a 1957 graduate of LaGrange High School and for most of her life made her home in Elyria. A homemaker, she had also been employed for 10 years by McDonald’s on East Broad Street before retiring. Edna was a member of Church of the Open Door, Elyria and enjoyed ceramics, word puzzles and watching the Cleveland Indians/Guardians and the Cavaliers.

Edna is survived by her sons, David and Dennis (Susan); daughter, Diane (late Jeff) Mohrman; grandsons, Chris (Kyle) and Alex and a brother, Chuck.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil; parents, Charles and Alice; twin sister, Enid; sister, Joyce and a brother, George.

A special thanks to the staff of Emerald Village in North Olmsted where Edna lived the last eight years of her life.

A memorial service will be announced in the near future.
