Edward R. Dulemba, Sr.

Edward Robert Dulemba, Sr., 84, of Elyria, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at his home.
He was born April 16, 1927 in Latrobe, PA, moved to Lorain in 1953 and established Dulemba Transmission in Lorain, which he operated for 30 years and was also a transmission specialist instructor for General Motors.
Ed loved the game of golf. While growing up in the late 1930s in Latrobe, he used to frequent the Palmer Golf Coarse and struck up a lifelong friendship with Arnold Palmer and several years ago, they played a last round of golf together. During his golfing career, Ed recorded his16th hole in one at Avondale Golf Club, where he had worked for the past 25 years.
Ed is survived by his longtime companion Judy A. Emmerich; sons Edward R. (Sandy) Dulemba, Jr. and Richard A. Dulemba, both of Amherst; grandchildren Shane E. (LaDonna) Dulemba, Tiffany (Joe) Ousley, Edward R. Dulemba, III, Richard A. (Jeannie) Dulemba, Jr. and Stephen A. Dulemba; great grandchildren Mason and Faith Dulemba, Jared and Brooke Ousley, Derrick, Corey and Breeanna Dulemba and sisters Josephine Christopher of Grove City, PA and Evelyn Henry of Madison Heights, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents Valenty and Stella Dulemba; siblings Mary, Catherine, Sophia, Jennie, Rose, Bobby, Walter, Stanley, Paul and Julia.
