Genevieve K. Bryant

Genevieve K. Bryant (nee Lee), 77, of Carlisle Township, died December 7, 2024.  “Jenny” was born January 31,1947 in Frankfort, Ohio.  She was employed for 30 years at Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation, from where she retired. She was an outstanding cook and enjoyed spending time at home visiting with close friends and sitting on the porch sipping coffee.  She loved children, cats, dogs, and quilting.  She enjoyed traveling with her sister and friends, especially to see shows in Branson, MO. Jenny became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed writing letters to share the bright hope she had found in the Bible. She was most recently associated with the East Elyria Congregation. 

Jenny is survived by children, Terry George, Tammy French, Jerry (Rebecca) Bryant, Lea Centracchio, Vanessa (Ben) Umeh, Neal (Rael) Bryant and Suzanne (Paul) Vana; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Ramona  Konicek; nephews Rob (Linda) Ellingsworth and Patrick (Karen) Ellingsworth; niece, Angie Ellingsworth; and others.

She was preceded in death by husband of 42 years, Jimmie R. Bryant in 2022; parents, Joe Cephes Lee and Goldie Lee and brothers, George “Jim” Simkins and Howard “Junior” Simkins Jr.

A memorial will be held Sunday, December 15th, 2024 at 4:00 pm (ET) at the Elyria Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 39099 Chestnut Ridge Rd Elyria, OH 44035.  Zoom Meeting ID:  862 3508 7462  (Passcode: 059601)
