Georgia E. Hrascs

Georgia E. Hrascs, of Elyria, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at her home. She was born in Dante, Virginia and moved to Elyria in 1944. She also lived in Avon, Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada and returned to Elyria in 1975. She was formerly employed at Diamond Products, General Industries and Trio Products all of Elyria. She was a member Grace Lutheran Church, Elyria and formerly active with the Altar Guild. She enjoyed golf, bridge, shopping and dinning out with friends.

Georgia is survived by a daughter, Donna J. (James) McLaughlin of Elyria; grandchildren, Deborah E. (Scott) Dunlap, Amy S. (Bill) Newton, Melanie A. McLaughlin and Eric B. (Melissa) McLaughlin; great grandchildren, Catrina, Courtney, Kara, Katy, Tyler, Emma, Alyssa, Savannah, Isabella and Gavin. She was preceded in death by, husbands, Roland Blair Marks in 1944 and Donald Hrascs in 1975; sister, Venie Webb; brothers, Emmett, Paul, Woodrow, Ray, Leonard, Howard and Hubert Wilson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323, Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Thursday 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Reverend Dennis Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
