Gwen Ellen Hinckley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gwen Ellen (nee Hughes) Hinckley June 06, 2025. Gwen passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her husband of 65 years, David W. Hinckley, by her side. She is survived by children, Becky and Scott Hinckley (Teri); grandchildren, Danielle (David), Kyle (Erica), Kristie (Mitch), Carson (Kaylynne), Callahan, Camryn (Hank), and Kenzi, and great-grandchildren Samantha, Grayson, Colton, Jacob, Owen, Hallie. Born March 2, 1938, in Connecticut, Gwen brought laughter, love, and unforgettable memories to our lives.

Her kindness and generosity warmed the hearts of everyone who knew her. Whether through her love of tennis, her commitment to her church, her willingness to lend a helping hand, or her delightful English sense of humor, Gwen had a magical way of making every moment special.

We invite all friends and family to join us in celebrating Gwen's life Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at North Olmsted United Methodist Church, 4600 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted. Let us gather to share stories, laughter, and love as we honor her fun loving spirit. 

Though we will miss Gwen deeply, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts and memories. Rest easy, dear friend, wife, mother, and nana.
