James Robert "Bubba" Wingard

James Robert “Bubba” Wingard, 60, a 15-year resident of Elyria, died December 15, 2023 at his home.  He was born June 24, 1963 in Warren, Ohio and was a 1982 graduate of Howland High School.  Bubba had been employed as a truck driver for Giant Eagle and retired from Transport America.  He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his dog, Sweet Pea.

Bubba is survived by his wife of 26 years, DonnaMarie A. (nee Kreigh); step-son, Matthew Brykalski of Middlefield; sister, Lori (Tim) Foy of Warren; niece, Kaylie; great-nieces, Gabriella and Bailey; great-nephews, CJ, Urban and Wilder and best friend, Jesse (Barb) Matheson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Mary Wingard.
