Jearl V. Jackson

Jearl V. Jackson, 84, of Elyria, died Sunday, March 9, 2025 at UH Elyria Medical Center.  He was born March 14, 1940 in Sutton, WV.  Jearl was a 1959 graduate of Elyria High School and served with the US Air Force.  He had been employed at Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Avon Lake.  He loved his 3 loyal pugs, Tobie, Ty and Andie.

Jearl is survived by wife of 63 years, Gail Louise (nee Cashner); daughters, Tracey L. (Scott) Sinkinson and Terri L. (Chuck) Caputo; grandchildren, Jason and Steve Sinkinson; brother, David (Joyce Fundak) Jackson and friends, Herb and Chip Floyd

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Irma Jackson; sisters, Barbara Thorne Martin Quinn and Sue (Tyler) Johnson.
