Jon B. Ehlke

Jon B. Ehlke, 69, of Elyria, died Monday, February 9, 2026 in his home.  He was born May 24, 1956 in Elyria and was a 1974 graduate of Elyria High School.  He retired as a machinist and had worked at Parker Hannifin for 15 years.  Jon was a 50-year member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria.  He enjoyed riding Harleys, golf, watching Cleveland sports teams, anything DIY and working on cars.

Jon is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Chris) Wallo of North Ridgeville; son, Ian Ehlke of Elyria; grandson, C.J. Wallo; sister, Kristine (Rick-dec) Lawrence; nephew, Matthew (Rebecca) Lawrence and a niece, Kali Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lila Ehlke.

 A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
