Judith A. Taylor

Judith Ann Taylor (nee Bohn), 78, of Elyria, died January 14, 2024 after a month long illness.   She was born August 12, 1945 in Elyria and was a 1963 graduate of Midview High School.  She received an associate degree from Lorain County Community College where she had been a secretary and also a member of Professional Secretaries International.  For 18 years, Judy was the owner of Fitting Room Mastectomy Boutique.  She was a member of St. Mary Church, Elyria and enjoyed bowling with her husband and watching shows on Lifetime. 

Judy is survived by children, Sean M. (Jennifer) Taylor of Elyria, Angela M. Taylor of Denver, CO, Steven M. (Kari) Taylor of Lorain and William M. (Kathleen) Taylor of Amherst; grandchildren, Eleanor, Joshua and Charlotte Taylor, Allison and Grant Taylor, William Thomas and Jackson Taylor; sister, Diann (George) Shively and brothers, William (Sharon) Bohn and Mark (Hien) Bohn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. in 2014; grandson, Andrew W. Taylor; parents, Ellsworth and Helen Bohn; sisters, Sandy Schmittle and Suzanne Povlsen and half-sister, Phyllis Wiencke.

Friends will be received Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.  A funeral mass will be Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Charles T. Diedrick officiating.  Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
