Karen Schroeder Obituary

Karen S. Schroeder (nee McCleese), 66, of Elyria, died Sunday, April 6, 2025 following a brief illness. She was born August 24, 1958 in Maysville, KY. For 25 years, she was a machine operator for Beckett Gas before retiring. She was a member of VFW 1079, Elyria.

Karen is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jeffrey; daughters, Crystal (Fred) Yost and Rhonda (Jeff) Holstein; son, Christopher Mason; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Brian Rosenkoetter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenwood and Mary Sparks; sisters, Rita, Sharon and Debbie and a brother, Bobby.

At the request of Karen, there will be no services.
