Katherine F. “Kathy” Gunderson, 66, of Elyria, died November 14, 2023. She was born April 12, 1957 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School. She worked as a nurse tech for 22 years at UH Elyria Medical Center from where she retired. Kathy enjoyed gardening, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with her grandson.

Kathy is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart of 42 years, Robert; daughter, Jessica Gunderson; grandchildren, Jax Christopher Robert Jackson, Christian Martin, Alexis Karwatsky and Madison Niziolek; sisters, Linda Draper and Deborah Waugh and a brother, Larry Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Christopher Gunderson and parents, Jack and Frances Landreth.
