Kathleen R. Bergenstein

Kathleen R. Bergenstein (nee Oriold), 58, of LaGrange Township, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at EMH Regional Medical Center, after a long illness. She was born February 16, 1950 in Cleveland, and has been a resident of Lorain County most of her life.
She was a 1968 graduate of Valley Forge High School in Parma and a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Oberlin. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, calligraphy writing and playing the violin.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael H.; sons, Michael (Sharon) Bergenstein and Benjamin Bergenstein; grandchildren, Benjamin J., Shayna and Sierra Bergenstein; mother, Ursula (nee Elsner) Oriold; brothers, Chuck (Judy) Oriold, Brian (Kim) Oriold and Darryl (Michelle) Oriold; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Adam Oriold in October, 2008; and a sister, Lauren Ambrose.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A memorial service for Kathleen R. Bergenstein (nee Oriold), 58, of LaGrange, who died, Sunday November 23, 2008, will be held 3 P.M. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Christ Episcopal Church, 162 S.
