Lawrence "Larry" Oliver Hamilton

Lawrence “Larry” Oliver Hamilton, 75, of Elyria, died at home November 18, 2023 after a lengthy illness.  For the past 2 weeks, Hospice of the Western Reserve has provided much needed support.  He was born May 21, 1948 in Elyria to Oliver and Helen Hamilton and was a graduate of Elyria High School.  He worked at Ridge Tool as a quality assurance engineer for 43 years before retiring in 2015.  Larry enjoyed riding his Harley whenever he could.  After retiring, he spent time with his poodle, the other Harley in his life.  He also liked relaxing and having cookouts in his backyard with Sue and his many friends, always with Harley by his side.

Larry is survived by his wife of 15 years, Susan (nee Smith) Hamilton and nieces and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bonnie Hamilton Eary.

Friends will be received Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
