Lenore P. Lotko passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family Saturday morning, November 11, 2023. She brightened up the world when she arrived September 21, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Irene Kuty.
Following her graduation from St. Joseph’s Academy she met the love of her life, Michael J. Lotko, Jr. and they were married March 10, 1945. After being stationed in Ft. Lewis, Washington, Lenore and her husband returned to the Cleveland area and eventually made their home in Elyria.
She will forever be cherished by her children; Nancy Bell (Dudley, deceased), Gail Talarek (Dan), Debbie Hruska (John, deceased), Michele Samek (Michael, deceased), Michael III (Cari) and Lisa King (Jim). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Roger (Vivian) Kuty.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Michael in 2012; sisters, Elaine Fallon and Vivian Linden and a brother, Ronald Kuty.
Not only was Lenore a devoted homemaker, wife and mother, she was very active in the Democratic party and enjoyed many years of service at the Lorain County Board of Elections. Lenore was also a long-time member of St. Jude Church.
She loved cheering for the Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers. Watching Jeopardy, crossword puzzles and ping pong were some of her favorite past times right up until the end.

A funeral mass will be Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar Street, Elyria. Reverend Father Joseph Scalco, CSJ will be the celebrant.
A private burial for the family will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
