Linda Adkins Obituary

Linda Lee Adkins, (nee Chambers), 82, a beloved mother/grandmother/great grandmother, affectionately known as “sweater grandma/memaw”, sadly left this world Monday April 28, 2025 after a long illness. She was a lifelong member of Washington Avenue Christian Church. She will be greatly missed for her kindness, caring, and compassion for people and animals.

Linda is survived by children, Laurel (Mike) Hoover, Bill (Laurie) Adkins, and Lisa Adkins; grandchildren, Stacey (Jose) Cruz, Jessica (Darius) Taylor, Joe and Joshua Adkins and great grandchildren Tristan, Gabriella, Antonio, Kota, and Zayla Lee.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Michael Adkins, and sisters June Neuberger and Betty Boydstun.

There will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda’s honor to the Friendship Animal Protective League at 8303 Murry Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
