Lois E. Bock

Lois E. Bock (nee Smith), 94, of Schaumburg, IL, died January 11, 2024 in her home.  She was born November 9, 1929 in Lorain and was a 1948 graduate of Elyria High School.  Lois had been a resident of Elyria until moving to Grand Rapids, MI in 1961. Lois was currently living in Schaumburg, IL since 1971, where she had been employed as office manager for Dr. E. Gonzalez, MD.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights, IL. 

Lois is survived by daughters, Jan (David) Wilson of Chandler, AZ, Jill (Larry) Schneider of Grandville, MI, Julie Diehl of Huntley, IL and Joni (Marc Weir) Bock of Reno, NV; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a sister, Florence Emary of Wakeman, OH. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. in 1979; a sister, Margaret Cook; parents, Anthony and Elizabeth (nee Dohanos) Smith and a son-in-law, William Diehl.

Services and burial for the family in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
