MIldred Viola Niebling

Mildred Viola Niebling (nee Pietch), 92, of Elyria, died Monday, September 27, 2010 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.
She was born March 14, 1918 in Elyria, Ohio where she has been a lifelong resident. She was a 1936 graduate of Elyria High School and was formerly employed at the former C.H. Merthe Company in Elyria and the Powers and Dawley in Oberlin and Elyria. She was longtime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Elyria and an American Red Cross volunteer.
Mildred is survived by nephews Larry Pietch of Norwalk; Richard Pietch of Avon Lake and John Pietch of Wickliffe, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert G. Niebling in 2002; daughter Barbara N. Boone in 2007 and parents Fred and Lillian (nee Schultz) Pietch.
A funeral service will be. Saturday 10:00 A.M. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria with Reverend Allen Grothe officiating and burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, 9715 E. River Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
