Marilyn B. Began (nee Moore), 83, of Elyria, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at EMH Regional medical Center.

She was born July 8, 1927 in Dover, OH and has been a longtime resident of Elyria. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing the piano and ballet.

Marilyn is survived by a daughter Kathy Meadows of Columbus, OH; sons Nicholas Panchak of Grafton, Russell Panchak and Randy Panchak, both of Elyria. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a son Joseph Panchak, Jr. in 1969, brother William W. Moore and her parents Walter B. and Virginia C. (nee Hites) Moore.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. A graveside service will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria. Reverend Catherine L. Wright, Rector of St. Andrews Episcopal Church will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 300 Third St., Elyria, OH 44035.
