Marina T. Willis

Marina T. Willis (nee Taganas), 75, of Elyria, died Saturday July 12, 2025.  She was born November 20, 1949 in the Philippines where she graduated high school and college.  She lived in Italy for a short time before moving to Elyria in 1978.  Before retiring, Marina had been employed at Micron and General Plug.  She was a member of the Filipino Association and attended St. Vincent de Paul church.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.

Marina is survived by children, Roy (Stefani) Willis of North Ridgeville, Florencia Willis of Elyria and Joseph (Heidi) Willis of Elyria; grandchildren, Greyson, Sadie, Jaedyn, Chrislyn, Feliciana, Penelopii and Eylam and siblings, Conchita Taganas Dingal and Candida Taganas.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Florencia; parents, Justiniano and Florencia Taganas and siblings, Rogelio Taganas, Aida Taganas Tubera, Eduardo Taganas, Sr. and Graciano Taganas.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm prayer service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Neil Walters officiating.
