Mary Y. Bailor

Mary Yvonne Bailor, 72, of Elyria, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake after a short illness.

She was born November 14, 1937 in Elyria and grew up in Amherst, graduating from Amherst High School.

She worked at the former Elyria Phone Company for forty years before retiring. After retirement, she was an active member of ITPA and she also was active with the Red Hat Society. While a resident at Life Care Center of Elyria, Mary volunteered with the social events at the center. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter in law Rick and DAnn Lynn Bailor of N. Ridgeville; sister and brother in law Ann and Larry Lawrence of El Paso, TX; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Richard P Dick Bailor in 2003 and her parents Aloysius and Frances (nee Kritzel) Virant.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, where a funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday. Reverend Jerry L.
