Mary E. Betty Rundle

Mary E. Betty Rundle (nee Moss), 89, of Elyria, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Center Ridge Health Campus, N. Ridgeville.

She was born April 16, 1921 in Detroit, MI. She graduated from Elyria High School in 1939 and has lived in Elyria most of her life.

She own and operated former Bettys Boutique and The Silhouette Beauty Salons many years, retiring in 1986.

She enjoyed camping, life on the farm, traveling and her family and friends. Betts held fond memories of her former employees and loyal customers.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert L. of Elyria; sons Larry C. (Dawn) Smith of Springfield, OH and Bruce J. (Bonny) Rundle of Lithia, FL; daughters Sarah E. (William) Clevenger of Escalon, CA and Judy L. Parsons (Steve) of Dallas, TX; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother Edwin Moss of Elyria and sister Marge McPhee of Longwood, FL. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Neil F. and Mary (nee Bakeman) Moss; brothers Neil Jr. and Robert Moss and stepmother Lucille Moss.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, and Monday from 10a.m. until an 11:00 a.m. funeral service in the funeral home. Reverend Ralph Krall will officiate and burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, P.O.
