Michael Georgevich

Michael Georgevich, 86, of Lorain, went home into the arms of our Lord January 15, 2026.  He was born April 11, 1939 in Lorain, Ohio to Dan and Mary Georgevich (nee Tepsich) and had lived in Huron, Elyria and Lorain.  Mike worked at Sears & Roebuck in Lorain and later at Sohio and BP, from where he retired. 

Mike was proud of his Serbian heritage and was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Lorain.  He enjoyed gardening, music, muscle cars of the 1970’s and had a passion for the art of drawing.

Mike is survived by his sister, Mary Toderick (nee Georgevich and formerly Drop); sister-in-law, Barbara Georgevich (nee Yontack) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; older siblings, Milan, George, Helen, Mildred, Annie Thomas and his beloved brother, Daniel, who was a stronghold for Mike during his life on earth.

A  service will be Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Dovin, Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001.  Fr. Sreten Stanojevic will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Elyria.
