Michael Poulos, 95, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025.
He was born June 9, 1930 in Elyria and was a 1949 graduate of Elyria High School. From 1951-1953 Mike served in the U.S. Marine Corps including a year in Korea. Mike was a bricklayer and co-owner of P&S Masonry. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and Elyria VFW #1079. His hobbies included antique cars, hunting and golf.
Mike is survived by sons, John, Mike (Christina), Tom (Lindsay) Poulos; and grandchildren, Lily, Alexis, Emma, and Dean Poulos.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Marjorie in 2000; parents, John and Mercina Poulos; sister, Mary Kaylor; and a brother, Nick Poulos.
Friends will be received Monday, December 1, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the time of a 12 Noon service in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd., Lorain. The Reverend Father Nicholas Manuel will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, where Amherst Veterans Military Honor Guard will present Military Honors.
