Milton G. Bearer

Milton G. Bearer, 77, of Elyria, died Friday April 26, 2024 at UH Parma Medical Center.  He was born March 14, 1947 in Clearfield, PA where he was raised before moving to Youngstown and then Lorain where he worked in the maintenance department at US Steel.  He had also been employed at Pepsi-Cola in Cleveland as a supervisor and retired as manager of Thomasson Potato Chip Company, Elyria.  Milton was a member of Elyria Amvets Post 32, American Legion Post 12, VFW Post 1079 and Elyria Moose Lodge and enjoyed socializing with friends.  He was an avid sports enthusiast, his favorite being Pittsburgh teams, especially the Steelers.

Milton is survived by his companion of 18 years, Ida L. Mudge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gertrude Bearer; brother, Fred Bearer; a sister, Lola and a half sister, Nellie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Elyria Moose Lodge.
