Nancy Cogley

Nancy Cogley (nee McCaffery), 95, of Elyria died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange.
She was born November 6, 1915 in Paisley Scotland, moving to Oberlin from Scotland in 1923. She had been an Elyria resident most of her life and a 1934 graduate of Elyria High School.
Nancy was employed from 1950 to 1971 at Lear Siegler, Inc. in Elyria and then at Murray Ridge School for 7 years, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Lake Avenue United Church of Christ, Elyria and enjoyed traveling to the east coast for summer vacations.
Nancy is survived by cousins including Roy (Violet) Bartholomew of LaPorte and Melvin (Wanda) Lawrie of Oberlin.
She was preceded in death by her father George McCaffery in 1957, mother Elizabeth McCaffery (nee McGill) in 1971 and brothers William in 1957 and John McCaffery in 1961.
A graveside service will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Reverend Bob Gross will officiate and memorial contributions may be made to Lake Avenue United Church of Christ, 310 Lowell St. Elyria, OH 44035.
