Nancy L. Dunham

Nancy L. Dunham (nee Simmons), 82, of Elyria, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at EMH Healthcare. She was born August 13, 1928 in Cameron, WV and has been an Elyria resident since 1959.

Nancy was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center in Elyria and enjoyed flower gardening, crafts, collecting purses and played the organ by ear.

She is survived by sons Terry R. (Karen) Dunham of Elyria; Charles R. Dunham, III of Louisville, KY and a daughter Janie N. (Dale) Currier of Elyria; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 55 yrs. Charles R. in 2001; brothers Howard Jr., Charles, Harry and Jerry Simmons; sisters Betty Crow, Mildred Supler and Genevieve Simmons.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria.

A service will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Harper officiating.

Entombment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
