Olive W. Schneider

Olive W. "Cookey" Schneider, 86, of Elyria, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at her home.

She was born October 31, 1923 in Cleveland, OH and had lived in Olmsted Falls before moving to Elyria in 2008 to live with her daughter.

She worked as machine operator for Morrison Products in Cleveland for many years.

She enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening.

Olive is survived by a daughter Darla J. VanHorn of Elyria; son Danny C. Schneider of Cleveland; one grandson Brian J. Hundza and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Donald D. Schneider in August of 2010, brother Eugene Lautenslager, sisters Connie and June and her parents Walter S. and Eleonor H. (nee McGuiness) Lautenslager.

Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria is in charge of arrangements.
