Patricia Lynn Hadaway (nee Harwedel), 61, of N. Ridgeville, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 in her home after a one year illness.
She was born November 29, 1949 in Elyria, was a 1968 graduate of Ridgeville High School and has been a resident of N. Ridgeville most of her life.
She worked as a secretary for many years, most recently, at Fields United Methodist Church in N. Ridgeville, where she was an active member and sang in the choir. She was a volunteer for over 25 years with Girl Scouts of America, was an expert seamstress and had a passion for baking.
Patricia is survived by her husband Mark A.; son Matthew (Chris) Hadaway of Danbury, CT; daughters Sarah (Mark) Hudson of Reading, MA and Emily (Devon) Dadich of Strongsville and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Anne Easton Hadaway and her parents Francis & Dorothy (nee Deimling) Harwedel.
A memorial service will be Friday 11:00 a.m. August 26, 2011 at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Rd., N. Ridgeville, OH 44039 with Rev. Tom Joyce officiating.
