Peggy R. Arthur

Peggy R. Arthur (nee Kline), 67, of Litchfield, passed away peacefully Friday December 13, 2024 in her home. She was born July 2, 1957 in Elyria and a member of the first graduating class of Elyria West High School in 1975.  She earned an associates degree in nursing from Lorain County Community College and had worked in various hospitals and nursing homes.  Peggy was past director of nursing at Life Care Center of Medina and retired from UH Elyria Medical Center 5 West mental health unit April 2015.  She loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening, canning, wildlife and nature walks.  She also enjoyed antiques, auctions, family vacations and spending time with her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by daughters, Ashley (Kevin Herbert) Arthur of Sullivan and Kelsey Arthur of Litchfield; grandchildren, Logan and Landyn Herbert; sisters, Shelley (Paul) Franks of Cuyahoga Falls, Cathy Baumert of Elyria and Pam (Jeff) Stang of Colorado and her beloved dog, Hershey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Yvonne Kline and a sister, Kim Kline in 2016.

Friends will be received Friday, December 20, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Kathryn Ketchum officiating.
