Reva L. Wieland

Reva L. Wieland (nee Strouse), 78, of Grafton, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at EMH Healthcare in Elyria.

She was born April 15, 1933 in Colton, OH, moved to Elyria in 1947 and was a 1951 graduate of Elyria High School.

She was employed at Tappan Company and Lear Romec for many years and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 50 years.

A kind and gentle person, she enjoyed puzzles, baking, cooking, country music and living life to its fullest.

Reva is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kurt R.; son Steve of Grafton; daughter Darlene of Olmsted Falls and sisters Dorcas Simon of Bristol, Connecticut and Marian Overholt of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Dorothy Strouse and a sister Bernice Cummings.

A graveside service will be. Wednesday, 11:00 a.m, August 3, 2011 at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Reverend Paul E. Jaster, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria is handling arrangements.
