Robert D Humphrey

Robert D. Humphrey, 92, of Elyria, died Friday October 31, 2025 at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake.  He was born January 15, 1933 in Amherst and served with the United States Marine Corps in Korea and Japan.  For 20 years, he was employed at Fruehauf Trailer Company and Republic Steel, Cleveland for 29 years before retiring in 2000.  Robert enjoyed golfing, old movies, crossword puzzles and working in the yard.

Robert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carol A. (nee Cameron); son, Robert D. Humphrey of Lake Mary, FL. and a sister. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Shirley Humphrey; daughter, Pamela Sue; three sisters and a brother.

Private burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
