Robert E. McCallister

Robert E McCallister, 93, of Elyria, passed away December 23, 2025. He was born August 1, 1932 in Vanderbilt, PA.

He formerly managed the family business and was past Commander of the VFW Post 1079. Bob was a proud Army veteran, employed many veterans, supported numerous charities, and enjoyed telling jokes to family and friends at Wesleyan Village. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his sons; Kenneth (Lisa), Ernest (Melody), and William McCallister; daughters Lynne Bowers and Leslie (Jeff) Kraynik; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Susan McCallister, parents Ernest and Violet McCallister and a great-grandson.

A private military burial will be held.
